Navigating life and relationships can be challenging at times, and you don't have to do it alone. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#154893) specializing in trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, identity development, and relationship issues.
As a Cuban-American, I provide services in either English or Spanish and enthusiastically work with individuals across diverse backgrounds. I'm based in Santa Monica (Los Angeles) and offer in-office or virtual sessions to California residents.
I’m a person-centered therapist dedicated to building a strong therapeutic partnership. I integrate evidence-based practices, encourage collaboration through feedback, and tailor therapy to your unique needs and goals.
The most common themes I address include healing past wounds to improve present experiences, enhancing emotional regulation to ease anxiety or depression, and supporting the development of fulfilling relationships with healthy attachment.
I provide EMDR and emphasize the mind-body connection through introspective and mindful practices, inner-child healing, and meditation. I treat clients holistically through a trauma-informed lens and lead with empathy and kindness. In our sessions, you’ll find an authentic, inclusive space where you feel welcome, seen, and heard.
Outside of work, I prioritize self-care through yoga, creativity, my own therapy, and quality time with loved ones. As I grew up in the mountains of Colorado, I developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors and nature. Movement and creative expression continue to ground and inspire me, and I always explore new ways to support both my personal and professional growth.
Working from a psychodynamic framework, I believe our experiences come together to form a beautiful mosaic of identity. Together, we explore how those pieces connect to present-day patterns and relationships.
I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Attachment-Based Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. With couples and families, I use Gottman, Solution-Focused, Narrative, and Systemic approaches.
